ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (October 25, 2023) — Nineteen Augustana College students recently completed SCUBA certification, with many planning to put their new skills to work during a Janaury Geology course in the Caribbean, diving in the topical waters and reefs of Bonaire.

Susan Wolf, Augustana's educational programs coordinator, said students trained for weeks and challenged themselves in completing the SCUBA training.

DES MOINES, IOWA (October 24, 2023) — Attorney General Brenna Bird has announced actions the Iowa Attorney General’s Office will be taking to prosecute election misconduct and fraud cases.

Under the government reorganization law that Governor Kim Reynolds signed earlier this year, the Iowa Attorney General’s Office was given the responsibility to prosecute cases relating to election integrity. The law went into effect on July 1 of this year.
