ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (November 21, 2023) — Eight Augustana College geology majors presented earth science concepts on October 11 at Moline Public Library's Fossil Day Program.

CLIVE, IOWA (November 20, 2023) — A Quad Cities man who won a $50,000 lottery prize said he initially thought his prize was much smaller.

“I told my wife, ‘I think I won $75 or $50. Do you want to check it?’” Rogelio Almanza said of his wife, Silva, on Thursday as he claimed his prize at the lottery’s Cedar Rapids regional office. “So, she checks it and she goes, ‘Ro, you won! $50,000!’”

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (November 20, 2023) — The Black Box Theatre opens their holiday show The Ho, Ho, Ho Show, December 7, at the downtown Moline theatre.
