DAVENPORT, IOWA (June 9, 2023) — Habitat for Humanity Quad Cities invites the public to celebrate the dedication of Habitat homes N° 126 and N° 127 this Saturday, June 10, 2023. The first celebration will be for home N° 126 located at 813 East 6th Street, Davenport. This celebration will begin at 10AM. Homeowner Armando Aguilar is looking forward to having enough space for himself and his two teenage children.

BETTENDORF, IOWA (June 9, 2023) — The Quad Cities Community Foundation is now accepting applications for its 2023 Operations and Program Grant program. This year, the Community Foundation will award over $486,000 to non-profit organizations in the Quad Cities region.

WEST DES MOINES, IOWA (June 8, 2023) — Hy-Vee Inc announces that it will host its next quarterly Best of Local Brands Summit in August to expand and enhance the product offerings at its more than 285 retail stores in Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. Since the Best of Local Brands summits began in early 2021, more than 125 new brands have been selected and are available to Hy-Vee customers.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (June 8, 2023) — The Downtown Davenport Partnership (DDP) announced it will allocate up to $100,000 to help businesses that were forced to close due to the building collapse at 324 Main St.

Additionally, the Quad Cities Chamber and DDP have partnered with the Quad Cities Community Foundation to accept donations from businesses and individuals through the newly established Downtown Business 324 Main Disaster Relief Fund to help directly affected businesses.
