RIVERSIDE, IOWA (November 8, 2022) — The Roots & Boots show, featuring Aaron Tippin, Collin Raye, and Sammy Kershaw, scheduled for Friday, November 11, has been rescheduled for Friday, April 14, 2023, due to a minor medical procedure performed on Sammy Kershaw on Friday, November 4. Sammy Kershaw will be on vocal rest for a minimum of four weeks as a result of the procedure.

DES MOINES, IOWA (November 7, 2022) — Iowa Attorney General Tom Miller, along with a bipartisan coalition of attorneys-general, announced three multistate settlements with Experian and T-Mobile totaling more than $16 million over data breaches that occurred in 2012 and 2015. The breaches compromised the personal information of millions of consumers, including more than 25,000 Iowans.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (November 7, 2022) — The Scott County Emergency Management Agency, in conjunction with the local Fire Chiefs and the State Fire Marshalls Office, has determined that the danger to life and property in Scott County, Iowa, has been reduced enough to remove the Countywide Burn Ban.

In pursuant to Iowa Code 100.40(1) (1995), Scott County’s Burn Ban has been lifted effective 11/06/2022 at 08:00 am for all of Scott County, Iowa.
