Rep Eric Sorensen Launches 2023 Valentines for Veterans Drive

ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (January 24, 2023) — Representative Eric Sorensen (IL-17) announced the launch of his Valentines for Veterans drive. Residents, schools, and organizations in Illinois’ 17th Congressional District are invited to create handmade Valentine’s cards and deliver them to Rep Sorensen’s district office in Rock Island starting on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, through Thursday, February 9, 2023, at 5PM CT.

Iowa Attorney General Bird Announces Additional Staff Appointments

Volunteers for Symphony Wins Spotlight Award for 2021-22 Car Raffle

DAVENPORT, IOWA (January 24, 2023) — The Quad City Symphony Orchestra’s Volunteers for Symphony (VfS) is one of four volunteer organizations chosen by the Volunteer Council of the League of American Orchestras to receive a Spotlight Award for its 2021-22 Car Raffle. While this was VfS’s first Car Raffle, they sold 546 $100 tickets, which generated $22,000 of support for the QCSO’s music education programs.
