DES MOINES, IOWA (July 25, 2022) — Lieutenant Governor Adam Gregg of Iowa has become Chair-Elect of the National Lieutenant Governors Association (NLGA) at the organization’s annual meeting. Lt Gov Gregg will serve one year in the position of Chair Elect and then assume the Chairmanship of the organization at an Annual Meeting in Des Moines, Iowa, in August of 2023.

MONMOUTH, ILLINOIS (July 25, 2022) — Sophia Swift of East Moline, a member of the Class of 2024 at Monmouth College, was one of the 10 participants in this year's Richard "Doc" Kieft Summer Research Program.

A biochemistry major, Swift presented research findings on July 15, a day devoted to a series of twenty-minute talks by the students, presented in the Pattee Auditorium of the College's Center for Science and Business.
