DAVENPORT, IOWA (April 12, 2022) — Eighteen co-sponsors representing State-wide Disability Rights, Latinx, LGBTQ, and mental-health organizations are partnering with Disability Rights Iowa to host an in-person presentation in Des Moines from Dior Vargas. In-person satellite viewings of Dior’s Keynote take place in Sioux City, Mason City, Dubuque, Fairfield, Davenport, and Council Bluffs.

WAVERLY, IOWA (April 12, 2022) — Georgia Nissen, of Eldridge, Iowa, was one of three Wartburg College students inducted into the Sigma Pi Sigma physics honor society in April.

Sigma Pi Sigma was founded in 1921 to honor outstanding scholarship in physics, to encourage interest in physics at all levels, and to promote an attitude of service in its members. More than 90,000 scholars have been inducted into the honor society.
