DES MOINES, IOWA (March 4, 2022) — Governor Kim Reynolds has announced appointments to Iowa’s boards and commissions.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (March 4, 2022) — The Mississippi Valley Blues Society and Crawford Brew Works have partnered to raise money in providing Blues education outreach for area music educators and students.

MONMOUTH, ILLINOIS (March 3, 2022) — Monmouth College art major Jennie Nichols ('23) earned third place in a national Nengajo [New Year's Card] design and drawing competition sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of Japanese.

Her prize-winning work is a four-by-six-inch postcard, designed in a digital version of the traditional Manga [Japanese comics] screen tone black-and-white printed style.

WAVERLY, IOWA (March 3, 2022) — Rachel Green, of DeWitt, Iowa, was one of more than thirty Wartburg College students and recent graduates honored at the annual Iowa College Media Association ceremony held virtually on Thursday, February 17.

Green earned second place for Best Video Promo or PSA and third place in Best Video Newscast in the television division.
