DAVENPORT, IOWA (March 24, 2022) — Scott County Auditor Kerri Tompkins announced today that her office has discovered an error in one version of the Candidate’s Guide to the Primary Election issued by the Iowa Secretary of State. “The original version of the Guide stated the last day for county candidates for the primary election to file nomination papers is Wednesday, March 30, 2022, by 5PM,” Tompkins said. “The correct date is Friday, March 25, 2022, by 5PM.,” she said.
