BEREA, OHIO (June 14, 2022) — The following local students have been named to the Dean's List for the Spring 2022 semester at Baldwin Wallace University, according to Provost Stephen D Stahl. The Dean's List recognizes students who earn a grade point average of 3.6 or higher while enrolled in twelve or more graded hours during the semester.

TOPEKA, KANSAS (June 14, 2022) — Washburn University is pleased to announce its President's List honorees for the spring 2022 semester. To qualify for the President's List, a student must complete at least twelve hours of graded credits and earn a semester grade-point average of 4.0.

Sydney Murfin from Geneseo, Illinois, earned this honor for Spring 2022.

DES MOINES, IOWA (June 14, 2022) — Governor Kim Reynolds has announced $100 million in school safety funding to support Iowa’s 327 public school districts and 183 non-public and independent schools during a press conference with the Department of Public Safety, Department of Education and Homeland Security and Emergency Management.

YOUNGSTOWN, OHIO (June 14, 2022) — Tucker Quinn of Reynolds, Illinois, was among nearly 1,600 students awarded undergraduate and advanced degrees and certificates at Youngstown State University's Spring Commencement.

Quinn earned a Master of Arts in Professional Communication.

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (June 14, 2022) — Gilda’s Club Quad Cities is excited to announce that we are introducing a monthly networking group for young adults (18-39) impacted by cancer called “I’m Surviving, Not Thriving… and That’s Okay.” This group is open to young adults with a current cancer diagnosis, survivors, and family/friends of people living with cancer. This group will start on Monday, June 27, 6-7PM, and will continue to be held on the fourth Monday of each month, 6-7PM.

DUBUQUE, IOWA (June 14,2022) — The following students were named to the Dean’s List at Clarke University for the Spring 2022 semester.
