As Auditor Sand continues to hold powerful government officials accountable, despite them changing the law to make it easier to hide waste, fraud, and abuse, Iowans are stepping up to support his work.

Dear Community of Davenport,

I write to you today not only as a father and husband but as a concerned member of our community who can no longer remain silent in the face of systemic injustice and failure. It is with a heavy heart and a deep sense of responsibility that I inform you of a lawsuit that will be filed against the City of Davenport, Iowa.
