LENEXA, KANSAS (July 9, 2020) The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing amendments to the 2013 National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) for Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional Boilers and Process Heaters. These amendments would further reduce toxic emissions from certain types of units and represent continued clean air progress made by the Trump Administration.

WEST DES MOINES (July 9, 2020) The Iowa Health Care Association (IHCA) Foundation has announced the winners of its 2020 scholarship programs. Thirty-three Iowans have been awarded scholarships, totaling $48,000, to pursue an education in health-care. Award-winners included Iowa high-school students, current long-term care employees, and a veteran of the US Air Force Reserve.

KENOSHA, WISCONSIN (July 9, 2020) More than 1,100 students have been named to the Carthage College dean's list for the spring 2020 semester. Dean's list honors are accorded to Carthage students who achieve a minimum 3.5 grade-point average while carrying at least 14 credit hours during a semester.
