BETTENDORF, IOWA (September 30, 2026) — Arconic Davenport Works will welcome area students to its Learning Center on Friday, October 2, for a hands-on Manufacturing Day experience designed to introduce young people to the wide range of careers available in modern manufacturing.

The event will be held in two sessions: 9-11AM and 12-2PM, at the Arconic Learning Center in Bettendorf.

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (September 30, 2026) — Western Illinois University (WIU)'s Museum Studies Graduate Program will have a strong presence at the 2026 Iowa Museum Association (IMA) Annual Conference, held Sunday, October 18–Tuesday, October 20, at Reiman Gardens in Ames, Iowa.
