PELLA, IOWA (May 21, 2025) — Central College students were recognized during the annual Scholarship Dinner for scholarships earned and applied to the 2024-25 academic year.

Brayden Alger of Davenport (52806) received the Journey Scholarship Fund and Noel Cover Scholarship. Alger is a member of the Class of 2028.

Emily Beldock of Davenport (52807) received The Little — Marshall Scholarship. Beldock is a member of the Class of 2025.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (May 21, 2025) — Downtown Davenport Partnership (DDP) is on the verge of unveiling a major placemaking enhancement to the Emerson Place corridor featuring decorative lighting and permanent steel archways, knitting the neighborhood together and recognizing its historic roots as Motor Row and Bucktown.

Now, the final phase of the beautification is nearly complete with the installation of decorative steel archways and ambient string lighting.
