CLIVE, IOWA (October 2, 2026) — Iowa’s iconic breaded pork tenderloin sandwich is back in the spotlight. After diners evaluated restaurants across the state, the Iowa Pork Producers Association (IPPA) has narrowed its 2026 contest to five contenders, in alphabetical order:

ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (October 2, 2026) — Augustana College has selected Quad Cities strategic leader and 2002 alumna Angela Snyder to serve as its first assistant vice president for impact learning, a new role designed to connect every Augustana student more intentionally with hands-on learning, career preparation, and meaningful work in the community. Snyder will join the college October 12.
