OMAHA, NEBRASKA (September 2, 2026) — AAA is activating its Tow to Go program for Labor Day weekend, offering a free and confidential ride home for impaired drivers and their vehicles in select states, including Nebraska and Iowa.

The service will be available from 6PM, Friday, September 4, through 6AM, Tuesday, September 8, 2026, helping keep impaired drivers off the road during one of the busiest travel weekends of the year.

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (September 2, 2026) — WQPT PBS is launching the Keep WQPT Strong: Community Focus-Community Funded Campaign, an initiative focused on building a strong and sustainable future for public television throughout the Quad Cities region. ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (September 2, 2026) On September 22, the 67th Honor Flight will leave the Quad Cities International Airport with over eighty veterans on their way to Washington DC to see the memorials built in their honor. This flight is sponsored by Quad Cities, Clinton, and North Scott Hy-Vee stores.

Of special note will be the six veteran women who served the nation with such grace and honor.
