What?
First drop-off is at the Museum of Science & Industry: visit a German Submarine as featured in Gary Moor's novel Playing with the Enemy. Join us as we visit the U-505, the German U-boat built for Nazi Germany's Kriegsmarine during WWII. She was captured in 1944 by the U.S. Navy. The codebooks, Enigma machine, and other secret materials found on board helped Allied code breakers. Second drop-off is in downtown Chicago for shopping and exploring!
Where/When?
The bus will depart at 7am from First Presbyterian Church (1702 Iowa St.) and return there at 7pm on Sat, April 23rd
