Civil War scholar Tom Emery, of Carlinville, IL, will present "Eddie: Lincoln's Forgotten Son," a 45-minute program about the short life of Edward Baker Lincoln.  Emery will cover how the early death of (nearly) four-year-old Eddie had lasting influences on the Lincolns, discusses several Lincoln myths and talks about their life in Springfield, long before the presidency.

It is free and open to the public.
