DES MOINES, IOWA (April 1, 2019) — As part of Iowa’s effort to strengthen or expand Registered Apprenticeship Programs within the health-care industry, three organizations were selected by Iowa Workforce Development to receive funding. They include: Broadlawns Medical Center; Kirkwood Community College; and the University of Iowa College of Nursing.

DES MOINES, IOWA (March 22, 2019) — Iowa’s seasonally-adjusted unemployment rate remained at 2.4 percent in February. The state’s jobless rate was 2.7 percent one year ago. The US unemployment rate dropped to 3.8 percent in February.
