DES MOINES, IOWA (April 19, 2019) — Iowa’s seasonally-adjusted unemployment-rate remained at 2.4 percent in March. The state’s jobless rate was 2.7 percent one year ago. The US unemployment-rate remained at 3.8 percent in March.

WASHINGTON DC (April 17, 2019) — US Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer and US Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue announced today that the government of Tunisia and the United States have finalized US export certificates to allow imports of US beef, poultry, and egg products into Tunisia. The program offers a 0% loan for up to five-percent of the sale-price, or $5,000, whichever is less and repayable upon refinance or sale of the home.
