WASHINGTON DC (June 11, 2019) — The House of Representatives is scheduled to vote this week on “minibus” appropriations legislation, combining five appropriations bills into one measure, totaling nearly $1 trillion. This minibus spends above last year’s record levels and likely well above current law. DES MOINES, IOWA (June 10, 2019) - Iowa Secretary of State Paul Pate announces Iowans set a record for most new business-filings in a single month, for the second month in a row. During May 2019, Pate’s Business Services Division processed 2,512 new business ventures. The previous high, set in April, was 2,326.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (June 4, 2019) — On Thursday, the Quad City and Clinton Hy-Vee dietitians will present Gilda’s Club of the Quad Cities with a check for over $10,000.

The monetary donation came from proceeds of reusable bag sales from Hy-Vee’s booth at this year’s Women’s Health and Lifestyle Fair in March.
