BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS (February 7, 2024) — Emmanuel College in Boston has named Autumn Kelly of Davenport to the Dean's List for the Fall 2023 semester. To earn a spot on the Dean's List, Emmanuel students must achieve a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher for a sixteen-credit semester.

MONMOUTH, ILLINOIS (February 6, 2024) In response to numerous delays with the US Department of Education's Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), Monmouth College has extended the deadline for its enrollment deposit to June 1.

The decision, which extends the College's deadline by one month, was not hard, said Monmouth President Clarence Wyatt.

ATLANTA, GEORGIA (February 6, 2024) — Varun Vedula of Bettendorf, Iowa, has earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with Highest Honors from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta.

Vedula was among approximately 6,300 undergraduate and graduate students to be presented Georgia Tech degrees during the Institute's 265th Commencement exercises December 15-16, 2023, at McCamish Pavilion.

Olivia Melton, associate professor of accounting, said the initiative serves Quad Cities’ residents and benefits students, who gain problem-solving experience.

WEST HARTFORD, CONNECTICUT (February 5, 2024) — The University of Hartford is pleased to announce Jenna Willet of Eldridge, Iowa (52748), has been named to its President's List and its Dean's List for Fall 2023.

The President's List is made up of an extremely select group of students who earned a grade-point average of 3.75 or higher in the semester. This is the GPA that must be sustained over a full undergraduate career to qualify for a degree summa cum laude.

MONMOUTH, ILLINOIS (February 5, 2024) For years, Monmouth College professor Chris Fasano has been an advocate of studying physics, calling the field "great career preparation, and great preparation for life."

Now, Fasano will continue that advocacy in an official role, as he's been named a "Career Mentoring Fellow" of the American Physical Society for 2023-24.
