A wrong turn en route to Pico Duarte delayed the arrival of part of Monmouth College's traveling party, but they eventually all made their way to the top

MONMOUTH, ILLINOIS (January 24, 2024) — A two-week January-term trip to the Dominican Republic led by Monmouth College biology professor James Godde was so full of adventures and Caribbean climate that the group almost didn't want to come home.

GALESBURG, ILLINOIS (January 24, 2024) — High-achieving students were named to the Knox College Dean's List for the 2023 Fall Term. To be named to the Dean's List, a student must have earned at least 2.5 credits in the term, with a grade-point average of 3.6 or better (on a 4.0 scale).

ADELPHI, MARYLAND (January 23, 2024) — Jericha Stout of Cordova, earned a(n) Bachelor of Science Cum Laude in Investigative Forensics from University of Maryland Global Campus in fall 2023.

Stout was one of more than 8,358 students worldwide who earned degrees from UMGC in the fall. Graduates came from all fifty states, three US territories, and 24 countries.

MONMOUTH, ILLINOIS (January 23, 2024) — During a career spent working in the restaurant/food service industry, Amber Dawson came to a conclusion a few years ago while employed in the Rocky Mountain state.

"I realized that higher education is where my heart lies," said Dawson, who, at the time, was in the midst of a seven-year stint with Bon Appetit Catering at Colorado College in Colorado Springs.
