IOWA CITY, IOWA (May 14, 2021) — Twenty-eight students enrolled in the Henry B Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa who received annual awards presented by the Department of Accounting.

FAYETTE, IOWA (May 13, 2021) — Sue Burrack, assistant professor of education, and Susan Massey, assistant professor of education/Master of Education program director, have been awarded Upper Iowa University's (UIU) 2021 Mangan Teaching awards.

NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE (05/12/2021) The following students achieved the Dean's List at Belmont University for the Spring 2021 semester. Eligibility is based on a minimum course-load of twelve hours (exclusive of audit and pass/fail courses this semester) and a quality grade-point average of 3.5 with no grade below a C (inclusive of audit, pass/fail courses, and zero-credit courses).

GREENVILLE, SOUTH CAROLINA (May 12, 2021) — Alexis Sweat, a Senior Science Education major from Moline, was among approximately 665 Bob Jones University students named to the Spring 2021 President's List.

The President's List recognizes students who earn a 3.75 or higher grade-point average for the semester.

MONMOUTH, ILLINOIS (May 12, 2021) — For professors and students who are more than ready to move on from classes that have anything to do with the phrase "virtual learning," Monmouth College chemistry professor Brad Sturgeon and some of his colleagues in the Center for Science and Business might say, "Not so fast."

MOUNT PLEASANT, IOWA (May 12, 2021) — More than 200 students were named to the Spring 2021 Dean's List at Iowa Wesleyan University. Students exemplifying academic excellence represent the United States and countries abroad. Criteria to be a part of IW's Dean's List include degree-seeking students taking 12 or more hours per semester with a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher.

BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA (05/11/2021) — Tracy Poelvoorde of Rock Island, Illinois, was recently initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society. Poelvoorde was initiated at Methodist College.
