IOWA CITY, IA (02/09/2018)-- Shelby Hornaday, a native of Bettendorf, IA, 52722 has been named to the University of Iowa's Dean's List for the 2017 fall semester.

ROCKFORD, IL (02/06/2018)-- Kevin Alberts, a resident of Davenport, IA, was named to the Dean's List at Rockford University.

Students named to the Dean's List for the fall 2017 semester earned at least a 3.5 GPA with no grades below "C" and completed all requirements for the semester.

Quad Cities school districts have seen a small decline in the number of students who have been absent for too many days of the school year. National-level research has found that students who miss even just 9 days of the school year have lower grades and score lower on standardized tests.
