MENOMONIE, WI (January 25, 2019) — The following students from the area have received the University of Wisconsin-Stout Chancellor's Award for the fall 2018 semester. The award is presented to students who have a grade point average of 3.5 or above.  

MONMOUTH, IL (January 24, 2019) — Monmouth College students continue to contribute to a "tremendous resource to the scientific community" by helping unlock mysteries about a virus.

BEREA, OH (January 24, 2019) — Alex Packard of Davenport, a graduate of Bettendorf High School majoring in acting, has been named to the Dean's List for the fall 2018 semester at Baldwin Wallace University, according to Provost Stephen D. Stahl. Any full-time student who achieves a GPA of at least 3.6 for 12 or more graded hours or part-time student who achieves a GPA of at least 3.6 for six or more graded hours in the fall or spring semester will be placed on the Dean's List.

STORM LAKE, IA (01/23/2019) — Angelena Wells, of Clinton, was named to Buena Vista University's (BVU) Dean's List for terms one and two. Students named to the Dean's List must have a minimum grade point average of 3.5 for the two terms, based on a 4.0 grade point system, and must have taken at least 12 hours of coursework.

Wells is enrolled in BVU's online programs.
