Quad Cities school districts have seen a small decline in the number of students who have been absent for too many days of the school year. National-level research has found that students who miss even just 9 days of the school year have lower grades and score lower on standardized tests.

NOTRE DAME, IND. (February 5, 2018) - The following students have been named to the Saint Mary's College Dean's List for the Fall 2017 semester.                                    Carmen Bauer, Long Grove, Iowa  •  Elizabeth Ferry, Eldridge, Iowa  •  Rachel Moore, Davenport, Iowa To earn academic honors at Saint Mary's, a student must achieve a grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.6 on a 4.0 scale, have at least 12 graded credit hours, no incompletes, and no grades lower than a C.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Feb. 6, 2018) - Kinsey Paulson, a Human Comm and Org Leadership major from Bettendorf, has been named to the Dean's List at Butler University in Indianapolis for the fall 2017 semester.

ROLLA, Mo. (Feb. 6, 2018) - Missouri University of Science and Technology announces the names of students who made the honor list for the Fall 2017 semester. To be included on the honor list, students must have carried a minimum of 12 hours and had grade point averages of 3.2 or above out of a possible 4.0.
