Augustana Ties for N° 6 in Enrolling International Students

ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (November 26, 2024) — Augustana College once again moved up the ranks in the federal 2024 Open Doors Report among baccalaureate colleges for the number of international students it enrolls. The 2023-24 ranking is a tie with Denison University, Granville, Ohio, for sixth in the nation.

Augustana’s student body currently includes 20% international students, up from 11.9% in 2020.

Eating Disorder Coalition of Iowa (EDCI) Launches the “Foundations of Eating Disorder Treatment Virtual Courses”

Des Moines University Expands Global Health Opportunities with New International Rotation Sites

WEST DES MOINES, IOWA (November 19, 2024) — Des Moines University (DMU) Medicine and Health Sciences has added three new international rotation locations through its Department of Global Health, available to students beginning in 2025. The new sites — Italy, Greece, and Sri Lanka — will provide students with unique, hands-on experiences in diverse health-care settings while deepening their understanding of global health challenges and cultural contexts.
