WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley will begin holding meetings with Iowans in every county this new year with meetings on Monday, Jan. 16, in Grundy and Black Hawk counties.

With these meetings, Grassley will begin his 37th year holding meetings in every one of Iowa’s 99 counties. Grassley has held at least one meeting with Iowans in every county, every year since he was first elected to the U.S. Senate in 1980.

On Friday, January 6, 2017 at 9:00, the Scott County Sheriff’s Office held a Swearing-In Ceremony at the Sheriff’s Office on second floor of the Scott County Courthouse in the Sheriff’s administration conference room. Due to a deputy sheriff vacancy, Eric George has been hired as the newest deputy sheriff of Scott County.
