ILLINOIS CITY, ILLINOIS (May 27, 2021) — Boat rentals on Lake George at Loud Thunder Forest Preserve are opening for the first time this season on Friday, May 26, just in time for Memorial Day weekend. From canoes and kayaks to jon boats and pontoons, Loud Thunder Forest Preserve offers a wide variety of boats to choose from. Rentals are offered Wednesday through Sunday, 8AM-7PM, with the last rental to go out at 6PM.
