Monkeypox Response and Vaccination

DAVENPORT, IOWA (August 25, 2022) — Since July, local public health departments in Iowa have been coordinating with the state health department to investigate cases and contacts of monkeypox. The overall disease investigation process is similar to other public health disease investigation processes, which includes community awareness, timely investigation, and testing as well as follow-up as indicated.

Fourteen Iowa Physicians Receive Business Leadership Certifications

The program, which is offered by the Iowa Hospital Association, Iowa Healthcare Collaborative, Iowa Medical Society, and Iowa Academy of Family Physicians, is designed to help physicians gain the tools to become successful leaders in today’s complex health care environment.

Iowa Health Care Association Foundation Awards 78 Scholarships to Help Iowans Wanting to Work in Long-Term Care
