SIOUX CITY, IOWA (April 27, 2022) — April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month, and Iowa Secretary of State Paul Pate is working with a northwest Iowa victims’ advocacy organization to inform residents about resources available to them. MOLINE, ILLINOIS (April 27, 2022) — Construction to remove the “bullseye” configuration of the QC Airport’s airfield has begun. This $10 million dollar project is funded 100% by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The project involves shortening the general aviation runway by 1,500 feet and creating a new parallel taxiway to the airport’s primary 10,000-foot commercial runway.
