BETTENDORF, IOWA (July 24, 2023) — Every day, non-profits are working to improve the Quad Cities region. As they grow, they require additional support to increase their capacity and expand their efforts. The Quad Cities Community Foundation designed Nonprofit Capacity Building Grants for this purpose.

BETTENDORF, IOWA (July 19, 2023) — The Downtown Bettendorf Organization (DBO) wrapped up its third year with a list of accomplishments including new and expanded businesses, façade grants for building improvements, increased beautification efforts, and a new downtown master plan.

ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (July 13, 2023) — Doris and Victor Day Foundation is awarding $750,000 to 56 community-based non-profit organizations, enabling them to expand essential services for vulnerable residents who struggle with basic needs. The contributions stemmed from a $10 million dollar gift from the Doris Day Estate in 1987 aimed at making the Quad Cities a “better place.”

BETTENDORF, IOWA (July 5, 2023) — Every child deserves to start their school year off on the right foot. This means having the necessary supplies: Markers, notebooks, pens, and pencils, and, maybe most important of all, a backpack. Since 2006, the First Day Project: Quad City-Wide Student Supply Drive has been striving to make this a reality by supplying thousands of local students with the items they need to start the school year with confidence.
