The all-ages learning event from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the Downtown Library, 401 19th Street, mixes an interactive live program with an array of Creation Stations that let kids make and take awesome experiments.

    The Quad Cities Astronomical Society, in partnership with Bettendorf High School, will hold a solar viewing event at the high school on Saturday, April 29, from 2 to 6 p.m.  The event is free and open to the public.

    During the event, members of the Quad Cities Astronomical Society will set up telescopes that provide safe viewing of the sun near the school’s main entrance on Middle Road.
