MOLINE, ILLINOIS (February 23, 2019) — The Quad-City Engineering and Science Council, or QCESC, held its 57th annual banquet on Thursday, February 21, at the Deere & Company World Headquarters. MADISON, WISCONSIN (February 7, 2019)  — As freezing temperatures plague much of the country, electric vehicle owners may experience a decrease in driving range, compounded by the use of the vehicle’s interior climate control. New research from The American Automobile Association (AAA) reveals that when the mercury dips to 20°F and the HVAC system is used to heat the inside of the vehicle, the average driving-range is decreased by 41 percent.

DES MOINES, IOWA (February 5, 2019) — Iowa Secretary of State Paul Pate's initiative to enhance Iowa’s election cybersecurity is one of three finalists for the National Association of Secretaries of State’s 2019 IDEAS Award. Cybersecurity is one of the biggest issues election administrators face. Secretary Pate brought county, state and federal entities together to protect the integrity of Iowa’s elections at every level.
