CLINTON, IOWA (July 1, 2019) — The Quad Cities River Bandits picked up two wins against the Clinton LumberKings at NelsonCorp Field on Monday night and won the road series as a result. The Bandits scored two runs in the eighth inning of a game resumed from Sunday evening to win 2-0 and then pounded out 14 hits in a 7-3 victory in the nightcap.

SCOTT COUNTY (July 1, 2019) — The Scott County Conservation Board has approved a special deer hunt for archery hunters only from October 10, 2019 through January 10, 2020 at Scott County Park. CLINTON, IOWA (June 30, 2019) — The Quad Cities River Bandits and Clinton LumberKings had play suspended with two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning on Sunday evening when severe weather arrived at NelsoCorp Field in Clinton. The game will be resumed as part of a doubleheader with the score 0-0 on Monday at 5PM. That contest will go a full nine innings and be followed by another nine-inning game approximately 30 minutes after it concludes.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (June 28, 2019) — The Quad Cities River Bandits knocked Burlington Bees all-star starting-pitcher Robinson Pina out of the game with a big first inning and rode that momentum all the way for a 10-2 win on Thursday night at Modern Woodmen Park. David Hensley went 4-5 with two doubles, a triple, and four runs batted in to drive the offense. The River Bandits improved to a season-high 22 games above .500 with the win.

BURLINGTON, IOWA (June 26, 2019) — The Quad Cities River Bandits took advantage of two late errors by the Burlington Bees to even the series with a 7-5 victory at Community Field.  Burlington missed out on several opportunities to tie or take the lead, stranding nine on base in the game and six in the final four innings.

BURLINGTON, IOWA (June 25, 2019) — The Burlington Bees scored eight runs in the bottom of the first inning to run away with a 9-0 victory over the Quad Cities River Bandits in a rain-shortened game on Tuesday night at Community Field. River Bandits starting-pitcher Matt Ruppenthal was chased from the game after facing seven batters without recording an out. 

DAVENPORT, IOWA (June 24, 2019) — Quad Cities River Bandits outfielder Ross Adolph has been named the Midwest League Player of the Week for the week of June 17-23. He has received the honor for a second consecutive week. Adolph is the only River Bandits position player to earn a weekly award in 2019. Jose Bravo, Shawn Dubin, Luis Garcia and Cody Deason have each been named pitcher of the week previously.

BELOIT, WISCONSIN (June 23, 2019) — The Quad Cities River Bandits scheduled game in Beloit on Sunday afternoon was postponed due to unplayable field conditions at Pohlman Field. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader when the River Bandits return to Beloit July 27-29.
