DAVENPORT, IOWA (July 4, 2019) — In a game that took nearly four hours to complete, the Quad Cities River Bandits outlasted the Beloit Snappers for a 7-4 win in front of 5,003 fans on Independence Day at Modern Woodmen Park. The Bandits earned their fifth straight victory and moved into first place in the Western Division second half standings.

APPLETON, WISCONSIN (July 4, 2019) — The Quad Cities River Bandits allowed just two hits while recording their Midwest League-best 14th shutout of the season, beating the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers 4-0 on Wednesday night at Fox Cities Stadium. The Bandits won both games in the series to pick up their fifth series-sweep of the year.

APPLETON, WISCONSIN (July 3, 2019) — The Quad Cities River Bandits erased an early deficit to beat the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers 4-2 on Tuesday night at Fox Cities Stadium. Starting pitcher Jose Rivera guided the Bandits to their third consecutive road victory by tossing a season-high 7.0 innings.

 

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (July 2, 2019) — The second season of Storm hockey begins Saturday October 19th in Peoria to rekindle the Cold War on 74.

After the early road trip, the squad will return to the friendly confines of the TaxSlayer Center October 25 and 26 to battle the two-time defending Presidents Cup champion Huntsville Havoc.

CLINTON, IOWA (July 1, 2019) — The Quad Cities River Bandits picked up two wins against the Clinton LumberKings at NelsonCorp Field on Monday night and won the road series as a result. The Bandits scored two runs in the eighth inning of a game resumed from Sunday evening to win 2-0 and then pounded out 14 hits in a 7-3 victory in the nightcap.

SCOTT COUNTY (July 1, 2019) — The Scott County Conservation Board has approved a special deer hunt for archery hunters only from October 10, 2019 through January 10, 2020 at Scott County Park. This hunt is only for residents of Iowa. Applications are now available and need to be returned no later than Wednesday, July 31, by 4:30PM. CLINTON, IOWA (June 30, 2019) — The Quad Cities River Bandits and Clinton LumberKings had play suspended with two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning on Sunday evening when severe weather arrived at NelsoCorp Field in Clinton. The game will be resumed as part of a doubleheader with the score 0-0 on Monday at 5PM. That contest will go a full nine innings and be followed by another nine-inning game approximately 30 minutes after it concludes.

CLINTON, IOWA (June 29, 2019) — The Quad Cities River Bandits dropped the first game of their series with the Clinton LumberKings by a 7-2 score on Saturday night at NelsonCorp Field. Clinton broke a 2-2 tie with a run in the bottom of the fifth before pulling away in the sixth inning.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (June 28, 2019) — The Quad Cities River Bandits knocked Burlington Bees all-star starting-pitcher Robinson Pina out of the game with a big first inning and rode that momentum all the way for a 10-2 win on Thursday night at Modern Woodmen Park. David Hensley went 4-5 with two doubles, a triple, and four runs batted in to drive the offense. The River Bandits improved to a season-high 22 games above .500 with the win.
