DAVENPORT, IOWA (July 26, 2019) — The Peoria Chiefs built a lead in the early innings and then hung on for a 7-6 win despite a furious rally from the Quad Cities River Bandits in the bottom of the ninth inning on Friday night at Modern Woodmen Park. Carlos Machado’s three-run home-run brought the Bandits within a run before Alex McKenna flied out to deep-right field to end the game. Quad Cities finished their nine-game homestand with a 4-5 record.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (July 22, 2019) — The Quad Cities River Bandits moved back into a tie for the most shutouts in Minor League Baseball by blanking the Bowling Green Hot Rods 1-0 on Monday afternoon at Modern Woodmen Park. The victory allowed the Bandits to take two out of three games in the set. The team will close the regular season with a 16-5 record against opponents from the Eastern Division.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (July 21, 2019) — Alex Holderbach’s second walk-off home-run of the season propelled the Quad Cities River Bandits past the Bowling Green Hot Rods 4-3 on Sunday evening at Modern Woodmen Park. With two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning and the bases empty, Holderbach drove a fast-ball from Hot Rods reliever Cristofer Ogando over the wall in right-field to spark a celebration near home-plate. The catcher’s first walk-off home-run came in the 12th inning of the home-opener

DAVENPORT, IOWA (July 20, 2019) — The Quad Cities River Bandits fell behind in the early going and had their comeback bid fall just short in a 3-2 loss to the Bowling Green Hot Rods on Saturday night at Modern Woodmen Park. With the Bandits down by a run and two on base in the bottom of the eighth, Alex McKenna’s fly-ball to deep-right was caught against the wall by Jordan Qsar to close the door on the River Bandits best chance at shocking the Hot Rods.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (July 19, 2019) — The Dayton Dragons became the first Eastern Division team to take a series from the Quad Cities River Bandits with a 7-1 in the rubber match on Friday night at Modern Woodmen Park. Two Dayton pitchers combined to limit the River Bandits to just one unearned run on two hits.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (July 18, 2019) — The Dayton Dragons scored six two-out runs in the fifth and sixth innings combined to take down the Quad Cities River Bandits 8-5 on Thursday night at Modern Woodmen Park. Dragons leadoff hitter Michael Siani went 3-5 with five runs batted in.
