APPLETON, WISCONSIN (August 10, 2019) — The Quad Cities River Bandits recorded their Minor League Baseball best 19th shutout of the season by blanking the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers 8-0 on Saturday night at Fox Cities Stadium. Abdiel Saldana and RJ Freure combined to strike out 13 Wisconsin batters and limited the Timber Rattlers to just four hits.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (August 9, 2019) — The Quad Cities River Bandits run under the Treasure Hunters name finished with a 4-2 loss at the hands of the Clinton LumberKings on Friday night at Modern Woodmen Park. Peyton Burdick went 3-5 with a double, a home-run, and two runs batted in to guide Clinton to their only win in the series.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (August 9, 2019) —The Quad Cities River Bandits remained unbeaten playing as the Treasure Hunters by doubling up the Clinton LumberKings 8-4 on Thursday night at Modern Woodmen Park. The Treasure Hunters turned an early 3-0 deficit into a 7-3 lead by scoring six runs on eight hits in the bottom of the third inning.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (August 7, 2019) — The Quad Cities River Bandits, playing as the Treasure Hunters for the first time this season, jumped out to a quick start and held on late for a 4-3 defeat of the Clinton LumberKings on Wednesday night at Modern Woodmen Park. Wilyer Abreu hit the first home-run of his professional career to collect his first three runs batted in on the campaign.

GENEVA, ILLINOIS (August 6, 2019) — In a series filled with low-scoring affairs, the Quad Cities River Bandits shut out the Kane County Cougars 1-0 on Tuesday afternoon at Northwestern Medicine Field to salvage a game in the set. The victor in all four games finished with a total of three runs or less. The shutout was the 18th of the season for the River Bandits, moving into a tie with Montgomery for the most in Minor League Baseball.

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (August 6, 2019) — On Monday, the Storm acquired forward Dakota Klecha from the Macon Mayhem in exchange for future considerations. Klecha is a fourth-year pro who played in 33 games for Macon last season and racked up 12 goals and 11 assists. In 127 career SPHL games with Macon, Peoria, and Fayetteville, he has scored 96 points.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (August 5, 2019) — Canadian Pacific and the Quad Cities River Bandits have partnered to present free tickets for the Bandits game at Modern Woodmen Park against the Clinton LumberKings on Wednesday, August 7. This will be the third game of the 2019 season in which fans are welcome to attend a River Bandits game free of charge. Most recently, on July 31, the team played in front of nearly 4,000 fans who received free entry to the ballpark.

Quad Cities has scored 2 runs in the 29.0 innings played in the series.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (August 5, 2019) — The Quad Cities River Bandits are, for the first time in franchise history, temporarily rebranding. For three nights this week, the team will be known as the Quad Cities Treasure Hunters. The uniforms they will be wearing for a three-game series August 7-9 against the Clinton LumberKings have been selected by Minor League Baseball as a candidate for the Golden Bobblehead Award for “Best Special Jersey.” The winner will be determined by online voting.
