MOLINE, ILLINOIS (October 31, 2019) — On Tuesday, November 5, 10AM-7PM, Quad Citizens are invited to come to the TaxSlayer Center and paint the names of friends, family, coworkers, and anyone who has served or is serving in the United States Military on the ice.

There is no charge for painting names and the Storm will provide paint and brushes. All names will remain on the ice for Salute To Military Night Saturday, November 9, when the Storm take on the Evansville Thunderbolts. 

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (October 24, 2019) — The 2019-2020 Quad City Storm hockey season kicks off Friday, October 25, 9:30-10:30AM, at the TaxSlayer Center (1201 Drive Ave, Moline), when the Storm take the ice. Samples of the Center's newest concession menu items will be made available 10:30-11:30AM. There will also be opportunities for player interviews in advance of Opening Night.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (October 18, 2019) — The Quad Cities River Bandits announced their 2020 regular season schedule on Thursday.  The River Bandits will open their eighth season as the Class-A affiliate of the Houston Astros on Thursday, April 9, with a home game against the Peoria Chiefs beginning at 6:35PM. The Bandits will also host the Chiefs on Friday, April 10, and Saturday, April 11, to close out the first homestand of the season.

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (October 14, 2019) — The Quad City Storm will be auctioning twelve specialty jerseys this season and giving 100% of the net proceeds to non-profits in the Quad City Area. In the inaugural season, the Storm auctioned off five specialty jerseys that resulted in a majority of the over $170,000 that was given back to local non-profits. The Storm were awarded the SPHL’s Wanda Amos Community Service Award for their commitment to the community.
