MOLINE, ILLINOIS (February 15, 2023) – The Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) has announced schedule changes for the remainder of the 2022-2023 season.

The only home date change for the Quad City Storm is a rescheduling of the game previously scheduled on March 23 to Tuesday April 4. The other changes to the schedule affect road dates and opponents.

The fully revised schedule is listed below:

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (February 6, 2023) — The Quad City Storm and Vibrant Arena have come to terms on an extension to the team’s lease agreement through the 2025-2026 season. The Storm played its inaugural season at Vibrant Arena, formerly the TaxSlayer Center, in 2018 and has since played every home game at the arena and hosted more than 275,000 fans.

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (February 3, 2023) — The Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) announced three opponent changes for this weekend’s games. The Quad City Storm will play the Peoria Rivermen tonight and tomorrow night at Vibrant Arena. The Storm was previously scheduled to play the Vermilion County Bobcats.

Additionally, the Storm will travel to Danville, Illinois on Sunday to take on the Vermilion County Bobcats. The Bobcats were previously scheduled to play the Peoria Rivermen.

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (January 30, 2023) — The Quad City Storm and UnityPoint Health Trinity host the 4th Annual Hockey Fights Cancer ice painting at Vibrant Arena. Quad Citizens are invited to come to the arena, 9AM-7PM, to paint the names of loved ones who have battled or are currently battling cancer on the ice. The names will remain on the ice for the Storm’s February 3 and February 4 games.

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (January 16, 2023) — Coming off a weekend sweep of the Vermilion County Bobcats the Storm returns to action on home ice Thursday and Friday to battle the Peoria Rivermen.

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (January 12, 2023) — The Quad City Storm has finalized rescheduling of the games that were not played on December 22 and December 23 due to inclement weather.

Decades Night versus the Vermilion County Bobcats, originally scheduled for Thursday December 22, will now be played on Thursday, March 23, 6:10PM.

Radar’s Birthday versus the Vermilion County Bobcats, originally scheduled for Friday December 23, will now be played on Friday, February 3, 7:10PM.

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (January 2, 2023) — The Quad City Storm returns to Vibrant Arena Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for the first time in four weeks to battle the Fayetteville Marksmen.

Friday, January 6, is Sensory Awareness night presented by Adolph’s Mexican Foods. Audio and visual effects in-game will be adjusted to an appropriate level for any and all fans in attendance.

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (December 22, 2022) — The Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) has mandated the postponement of the Quad City Storm home games versus the Vermilion County Bobcats on Thursday December 22 and Friday December 23 due to unsafe travel conditions.

The games will be rescheduled to a future date TBD. All tickets purchased for this weekend’s games will be honored on the rescheduled game dates.

GRIMES, IOWA (December 12, 2022) — Special Olympics Iowa will induct the 2022 inaugural class, nine individuals, into the Special Olympics Iowa Hall of Fame on December 15.
