MOLINE, ILLINOIS (March 9, 2022) — Scott Mullen, Executive Director of the TaxSlayer Center, announced today that the Quad City Mallards Heroes vs Villains Charity Hockey Match, presented by Arconic on March 4, raised $89,920.33 for local charities, making the event the most successful one-night sports-related fundraising effort in Quad Cities history.

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (March 2, 2022) — The Quad City Storm defeated the Vermillion County Bobcats 7-1 at the TaxSlayer Center on March 1. The win clinched the organization’s first-ever President’s Cup play-off berth. Play-off game-dates will be announced in early April and tickets can be purchased at that time at and the TaxSlayer Center box office.

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (February 10, 2022) — TaxSlayer Center Executive Director Scott Mullen has announced that the arena, in partnership with Arconic and Genesis Health System, will host a major fundraising event on Friday, March 4, 7PM, featuring members of the legendary Quad City Mallards Championship Teams facing their arch-rivals, the Flint Generals. The match-up is a resumption of a long-time heated rivalry billed as Heroes v Villains of the United Hockey League.
