DES MOINES, IOWA (May 8, 2025) — Iowa bike organizations Central Iowa Trails Association and the Iowa Bicycle Coalition are teaming up to present the RITUAL Mountain Bike Film Tour featuring the Big Bike Give. The tour stops at Varsity Cinema on May 14.

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (May 6, 2025) — The Quad City Storm finalized its protected list for the 2025-2026 SPHL season. The protected list is composed of thirteen players that ended the 2024-2025 season on the Quad City Storm roster. These players are ineligible for recruitment or signing by other SPHL teams.

WINDHAM, NEW YORK (April 17, 2025) — The Adaptive Sports Foundation (ASF) has released its 2025 summer program schedule, featuring a full slate of Warriors in Motion® (WIM) events, adaptive skateboard camps and a multi-sport summer camp designed for individuals with disabilities.

BETTENDORF, IOWA (April 4, 2025) — Bettendorf High School students will be competing with their peers from four other area schools in a trebuchet contest Friday, April 11. Each team’s challenge will be to present their designs and ideas to a panel of engineers as well as ensure their trebuchet launches accurately and consistently.

WINTER PARK, COLORADO (April 10, 2025) — Cecile Brown and Victoria Whiteley, two members of the Adaptive Sports Foundation’s (ASF) Race Team, competed at the National Sports Center for the Disabled (NSCD) Spring Championships in Winter Park, Colorado, April 7–10.

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (April 7, 2025) — The Quad City Storm will battle the Peoria Rivermen in Round One of the SPHL’s President’s Cup Playoffs beginning Thursday, April 10.

The game dates and times are as follows:

Game N°1: Thursday, April 10 — Quad City @ Peoria — 7:15PM

Game N°2: Friday, April 11 — Peoria @ Quad City — 7:10PM

Game N°3: Sunday, April 13 — Quad City @ Peoria — 3:15PM (if necessary)

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (March 31, 2025) — The Quad City Storm clinched a play-off berth Saturday, March 29, with a 3-1 victory over the Knoxville Ice Bears in front of a raucous crowd of 4377 fans.

The first-round play-off opponent and game dates are not yet known, but more information will be made available in the coming days.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (March 26, 2025) — The Quad Cities Corporate Games (QCCG), a project of the Iowa Sports Foundation in partnership with Visit Quad Cities and the Davenport Parks and Recreation Department, has announced company divisions for the fifth annual competition.

Thirty-nine companies will compete in three divisions, grouped together by general company size. Points are awarded throughout the competition based on sport/event placing, participation and volunteerism.
