DES MOINES, IOWA (December 2, 2024) — The Iowa Bicycle Coalition begins their statewide “Support Your Local Bike Shop Week” tour today with stops across the state through Saturday, December 7. The tour highlights local cycling businesses and will provide publicity, marketing materials, and recognition for participating shops. Last year, the Coalition and its members visited over eighty local bike shops across Iowa during the annual event.

The Steamwheelers will start their season with their home opener on Friday, March 21, versus Eastern Conference foe the Green Bay Blizzard, who ended the Wheelers play-off hopes last season. The match-up will be the Steamwheelers' and Blizzards' thirteenth meeting in the IFL era. The match-up has consistently fielded competitive and physical contests.

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (October 22, 2024) — The Quad City Steamwheelers have announced the hiring of T'Nauzhae Robinson as the new Head Coach of the 2025 Deckmate Dancers.

After the retirement of six-year Head Coach Mckenzy Miller this past Summer, the Steamwheelers set out to find the future leader of the Deckmate Dancers and did so with the hiring of Quad Cities native,  T'Nauzhae Robinson.

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (October 21, 2024) — The Quad City Steamwheelers and Head Football Coach Cory Ross have agreed to an extension that locks him in through the 2025 season. Ross came to the Quad Cities in 2018 and has proved himself as a coach who can win, taking the sQUAD to the 2022 IFL National Championship game.
