DAVENPORT, IOWA (July 23, 2019) — The Downtown Davenport Partnership (DDP) annual meeting was held on Tuesday highlighting 2018-2019 downtown growth, flood-relief grant-funding, and a look toward the future of downtown development.
QUAD CITIES (February 7, 2019) — Today, the Illinois State Senate voted to raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour. The bill increased the state’s minimum wage to $15 an hour by 2025 and $13 an hour for those under 18 by 2025. The total vote was 39-18. The Quad Cities Chamber worked closely with Senator Neil Anderson to secure his “no” vote.
