DES MOINES, IOWA (September 11, 2023) — Governor Kim Reynolds has signed a proclamation relating to the weight limits and transportation of grain, fertilizer, and manure.

DES MOINES, IOWA (September 7, 2023) — Governor Kim Reynolds and the Iowa Economic Development Authority have announced $5 million in awards to four non-profits that are investing in the infrastructure to increase the availability of food distributed to local food pantries throughout the state. The Iowa Food Insecurity Infrastructure Fund was established to help more Iowans in need get access to fresh, nutritious food.

Counties included in the declaration are Allamakee, Clayton, Des Moines, Dubuque, Jackson, Lee, and Scott.

DES MOINES, IOWA (August 21, 2023) Governor Kim Reynolds announced on Friday, August 18, that Dax Oberreuter will join her administration as policy advisor for health-care and veteran’s affairs. Oberreuter most recently served as legislative liaison at the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). He previously held the same position for the Iowa Department on Aging and served as the agency's public information officer and planning and innovation administrator.
