 Start off the new year by celebrating local! Ring in 2014 with Me & Billy's with an all you can eat Fiesta Buffet, drink specials, a champagne toast, DJ Twisted Mic, and more! At River Music Experience, celebrate the new year with friends, drinks, and folk rock music during the NYE Show with The Giving Tree Band! You can even head to the RiverCenter for the NYE 2014 Retro on the River: Too White Crew.  If you're looking for a place to stay the night and live entertainment with hor d'oeuvres, Hotel Blackhawk is holding 10 rooms at a discounted price for the first ticket holders that are attending the New Years Bash at Barrel House 211. If you're hunting for something a bit more family oriented this week, head to The River's Edge for ice skating. The Freight House Farmers Market is always a fine option, too.  Until then, you'll find even more entertainment at River Music Experience this week. On Saturday morning, participate in the Community Drum Circle which features improvised rhythms and a time to groove with friends. Later on, venture back for a night of live progressive bluegrass when Cornmeal takes the stage. Cornmeal is always a blast, so bring your dancin' shoes and get down to some jamtastic bluegrass! Take a break from all the holiday baking and treat yourself to a New Year's Day Celebration Brunch at Rhythm City Casino on Wednesday. Enjoy New York steaks cooked to order, your favorite breakfast items, an omelet station, and drinks! Of course, all of our bars and restaurants will be hosting NYE parties of some kind, so pick your favorite and plan to visit us.
