A high-energy ensemble boasting some of the sharpest musical talents the Quad Cities has to offer, 10 of Soul headlines a May 27 engagement as part of the Tangled Wood's Summer Concert Series, their Bettendorf performance boasting classic tunes from the genres of soul, funk, and blues, as well as a few funky arrangements of their own.

From now through July 20, Davenport RiverCenter visitors are invited to journey through art history, and more than 300 iconic masterpieces, in the touring sensation Beyond Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience, a three-dimensional experience that exhilarates every sense and brings to life one of the most influential artists the world has ever known.

Inviting audiences on a journey of emotions from laughter, intrigue, danger, and fear to wonder, anticipation, tears, and sentimentality, internationally touring illusionist Mike Super brings his stage spectacular Magic & Illusion 2.OH to Moline's Vibrant Arena at the Mark on May 19, the gifted performer from Penn & Teller: Fool Us still the only prestidigitator in U.S. history to win a live magic competition on prime-time network television.

If you're a parent of young children, you're no doubt familiar with the magical world of the TV puppy Bluey, and on May 20, the Davenport Public Library's Fairmount Street Branch will celebrate the pooch and his pals in the Bluey Party!, with games, crafts, snacks, book recommendations, and a "flossing dance party" taking place in advance of the forthcoming Bluey's Big Play touring event at Davenport;s Adler Theatre.

An unmistakable performer who led a pop-culture phenomenon to a dozen top-20 singles, four chart-topping albums, and two Emmy Awards, Micky Dolenz brings his concert event The Voice of the Monkees to Davenport's Rhythm City Casino Resort Event Center on May 20, the musician's lauded touring event allowing the artist to draw on his diverse background in television, film, and the Broadway stage.

Double-platinum-selling musicians whose smash hits from the '90s include As Ugly as They Wanna Be and America's Least Wanted, the hard rockers of Ugly Kid Joe headline a May 22 concert event at East Moline venue The Rust Belt, their 2022 album Rad Wings of Destiny inspiring Tom Cornell of CGCM Rock Radio to rave, "Showing perhaps more subtlety than all those years ago, but still maintaining the fun and silliness in small doses, they still know how to rock and entertain."

The rare touring outfit that can boast raves from both Metal Planet Music (which deems the ensemble "a phenomenal heavy rock band and worthy of your full attention") and Jesus Freak Hideout (which states that "they continue to rock hard and move at a breakneck pace"), Stryper headlines a May 20 concert at East Moline venue The Rust Belt, the Grammy-nominated and Dove Award Winning group famed for such Billboard-charting hits as “Calling on You,” “Honestly,” and “Always There for You.”
