A celebration of one of the best-selling bands of all time, with sales of over 90 million records worldwide, the Legacy Tour of Earth, Wind & Fire comes to Davenport's Adler Theatre to February 16, treating fans to an evening of monster grooves, high energy, and danceable hits with numerous past and former members – among more than 30 over the past half-century – of the chart-topping, Grammy-winning ensemble.

Composed of Jinty McTavish on violin, Rita Andrade on viola, Genevieve Tabby on cello, and the Quad City Symphony Orchestra's own Sabrina Tabby also on violin, a lauded crossover string quartet with share their gifts in Up Close with ATLYS, their February 11 and 12 area performances demonstrating why the group has been lauded for their passionate and dynamic sound and mesmerizing, interactive concert experiences.

Praised by Broadway World as a performer whose “voice is crystalline pure, inhabiting the same effortless soprano world as Judy Collins” alternative-folk and musical-theatre chanteuse Eleri Ward headlines a February 15 concert at Davenport's Raccoon Motel, the artist's latest album – the Stephen Sondheim celebration Keep a Tender Distance – inspiring the New York Times to rave, "Ward plumbs this deep well in a way that feels so intuitively right, it's remarkable no one has done it before."

On February 8, the Rock Island Public Library, Moline Public Library, and Illinois Libraries Present will host a special virtual program in which participants will learn how to harness the power of words and storytelling for change, with the award-winning author of 36 books author taking part live in Saying Yes to Your Story: A Conversation with Kwame Alexander.
