Praised by the New York Times for its "accessible, informative, and optimistic look at solutions to the climate crisis," the Australian documentary 2040 serves as the latest presentation in River Action's QC Environmental Film Series, its March 6 premiere at Davenport's Figge Art Museum inviting audiences to look at the effects of climate change over the next 20 years and what technologies that exist today can reverse the effects.

Nominated for seven 2014 Tony Awards and the winner of two, one of Broadway's biggest recent hits makes its long-awaited debut at Davenport's Adler Theatre with the arrival of touring production Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, a March 9 tribute to the beloved singer/songwriter boasting a book by Oscar nominee Douglas McGrath and some of the most unforgettable pop tunes of all time.

Performing a singular blend of Chicago blues, New Orleans funk, Grateful Dead-style psychedelia, and jazz fusion, the gifted musicians of the Joe Marcinek Band play Davenport's Redstone Room on February 24, a night celebrating the talents of singer/songwriter/guitarist Marcinek as well as Ola Timothy, Kyle Magnusson, Georgia Rae, and special guest Jason Hann of String Cheese Incident.
