In celebration of one of the best-selling and most popular bands of all time, the alt-rock musicians of Nivrana: A Tribute to Nirvana will brings their grunge talents to Common Chord's Redstone Room on February 3, with the Davenport venue hosting a repertoire of hits from the platinum- and diamond-selling albums Bleach, In Utero, and the timeless Nevermind.

With the organist lauded by Fanfare magazine as "supremely powerful" and an artist whose "virtuosity is never in doubt," Joby Bell will be the featured guest in the University of Dubuque's second-annual John and Alice Butler Pipe Organ Recital Series, his February 3 performance treating audiences to what Fanfare deemed "a special, subtle gift for clear articulation of notes and shaping of discrete phrases that brings out themes and their connections into bold relief."

Performing an exhilarating evening of solo and duet works by composers Wynton Marsalis, Sergei Prokofiev, Chen Yi, Paul Lansky, and the Quad Cities' William Campbell, Quad City Symphony Orchestra concertmaster and violinist Naha Greenholtz and percussionist Aaron Williams will fill Moline's Butterworth Center with classical delights on January 28, the artists combing their talents for the special QCSO presentation Up Close with Naha & Aaron.

Touring in support of their most recent album Time, Tequila, & Therapy, a release that Roughstock called "right up there with the best of the contemporary country-music records to be released in 2021," the chart-topping musicians of Old Dominion headline a January 21 concert at Moline's Vibrant Arena at the MARK, the popular touring ensemble having scored four Academy of Country Music Awards and nine top-10 Billboard singles over the past seven years.
